Lovenote to Snuggie Blanket
I recently posted on Snuggie Blankets and learned helplessness, but my eye-rolling has had little to no effect. It seems that the world has fallen in love. This morning I came across a creative bit of earned media for Snuggie Blankets at Patrol.com. Sharon writes:

I’ll never forget the first time my eyes met yours. I was sitting at home on the couch, cold and lonely, in a dead-end relationship with yet another blanket....

I think you just sold one of these to my daughter. ;D
Ha!
i would rather buy the clapper.
The item we all love to hate!
And, Nancy, the clapper does seem like an awesome gadget. Not that I ever bought one of those either...
brad,
i must confess, i have bought the clapper as a fun gift for my youngest daughter a couple of years ago. we pluged her bedroom lamp into it. she and peter have made a little competition out of time for lights out that they sometimes play.
what was funny though, was once when she had a cold and was coughing in bed, sometimes the lamp would go on.
i am really into timers on the lamps too, especially for dark early winter mornings with cj getting ready for school. i like to set one in the bathroom for just before we have to get up, that way it shines into her room a little bit to ease the transition.
but, the snuggie...not even the slightest bit of desire to have one. not as long as i have a wood stove.
nAncY, I think I could forego a lot of things as long as I've got a wood stove to get me through damp Michigan winters. Keeps me warmer than a snuggie ever could.
In fact come this winter, I may just have to compose "Ode to the Wood Stove."
If they only made a work-appropriate version!
I work from home and my office (a half-century-old addition) is the coldest room in the house. In the coldest months I can actually see my breath in here.
Snuggie Office Suit?
linus once mentioned getting his blanket made into a sports coat.
anne,
i tell ya, the rain starts here the end of october and does not stop until may. the wood stove warms down to the bone.
fun idea about the "ode to the woodstove".
I'll remember to put it on my Christmas list...right after the Chia Pet
Aw, shucks, ESI. What a great guy!
